Our extruded polypropylene (PP) sheet and roll stock has many of the same characteristics as our polyethylene material. It is a versatile material that can be used for a wide range of applications. Our PP material is durable, impact resistant and weather resistant.
Our polypropylene is “graphic quality” and can be printed similarly to polyethylene. The BIGGEST difference between PE and PP is that our extruded polypropylene can be completely transparent. This is a tremendous benefit when using polypropylene for packaging applications.
Our PP material comes in a variety of surface textures and is available in thicknesses from 0.012 to 0.125 gauge. We can extrude PP clear, as a tint or any PMS opaque color and we have several stock finishes in clear and 7 tints in a variety of thicknesses.
PolyPrime’s clear polypropylene is a completely recyclable printing substrate and is a green alternative to clear rigid vinyl, polycarbonate & PETG. Our polypropylene is graphic quality and available in flat sheet stock or roll stock. Polypropylene is less expensive than clear rigid vinyl.
PolyPrime introduces a NEW polypropylene that is clearer and easier to process and print. Gloss/Gloss polypropylene sometimes presents challenges that make it difficult to feed because the material wants to block together. PolyPrime took the challenge head on and developed ProMotion™ polypropylene. ProMotion™ has been developed with a non-blocking process so that the sheets feed at the rate of your presses.
Along with the increased production, there are advantages of lower costs to PET & PVC, it is UV printable and is recyclable.
